Basic rules for a good milling operation If the following items are obtained:
1. Top bearing always oscillating; 2. Constant and uniform cane feeding (without interruptions or abrupt variations); 3. 1st mill donnelly with level always higher than 75%; 4. Recommended specific hydraulic pressures (SHP): For conventional mills: 22.5 to 25 tf/dm² SHP; For diffuser dryer mills: 27 to 30 tf/dm² SHP; 5. Juice extraction%caneJuice in the 1st mill higher than 70%; 6. Imbibition: in the last mill water at rate 250% fiber at 60°C pressurized under bagasse with uniform and continuous distribution at the bagasse layer in the mill output ; other mills uniform distribution at the bagasse layer and flow always continuous; 7. Weld deposition on the roll grooves (side and top) always maintained; 8. Scrapers and turnplates always in ideal conditions; 9. Cane preparation: min 80/85% OC; 10. Mill Adjusting prepared with correct criteria and rigorous verification of correct assembling; 11. Mill drives with correct specification; 12. Off-crop materials and the maintenance parts always as specified and with rigorous quality inspection.
